What rodent proofing involves
Treatment removes the rats or mice you have now. Proofing deals with how they got in. We inspect the property, find the entry points and seal them, so a new set of rodents cannot simply follow the old one.

- Gaps around pipes where they pass through walls and floors
- Space under kickboards and behind kitchen units
- Cable runs and floor voids that let rodents move between rooms
- Gaps at airbricks, vents and door thresholds

Do I need proofing if the rats or mice are already gone?
If the entry points are still open, they can come back or be replaced by new ones. Proofing closes the way in.
Can I book proofing without treatment?
Yes. Proofing can be booked on its own, or together with treatment as a package that saves £100.
Does proofing cover rat blockers in the drains?
No. Rat blockers fitted in the sewer system are quoted separately. Call us and we will tell you whether your property needs them.
